Alex and Talia’s Springtime Wedding at Ebell Los Angeles

A black and white of the groom embracing his bride. Behind them is the Ebell Los Angeles where their Jewish wedding takes place.

One of the most beloved historic landmarks in LA, the Ebell of Los Angeles is a highly esteemed wedding venue in the heart of the city. In addition to its stunning ballroom space, the picturesque outdoor lawn and fountain area, theater, and dining room lounge offer 75,000 square feet of elegant Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture. The Ebell has even set the scene for many film and TV weddings and events such as The Wedding Planner, Forest Gump, Gilmore Girls, and more!

With such a rich history, it’s no wonder Alex and Talia chose it as the location for their heartfelt Jewish wedding. Directly before the ceremony, the couple and their closest family gathered for an essential Jewish wedding tradition- the signing of the Ketubah. This sacred Jewish marriage document outlines the details of the wedding, as well as the obligations of the couple to each other in “til death do us part”. Immediately after, it was time to walk down the aisle where Alex and Talia included several other sacred Hebrew ceremony traditions, such as as the seven circles, seven blessings, and the breaking of the glass.

In addition to the rich cultural meaning laced throughout,  the event was thoroughly adorned with stunning florals from my friends and frequent collaborators, Leta Verbena. Guided by wedding planner Melissa Lovell, the floral design studio effortlessly carried the ceremony’s elegant garden magic into the lavish reception hall.

Ending the night, all of the couple’s guests joined in for the mirth-filled Hora dance, sending the couple off with one last Mazel Tov! To see my favorites from Alex and Talia’s Jewish wedding at Ebell Los Angeles, take a scroll below:
