I got to know Gatsby through Czarina’s Instagram. About a year ago, Czarina and her new husband Brad (I shot their wedding last year) got the cutest little Corgi puppy named Gatsby. I followed along through their pictorial journey as they trained their puppy, and discovered personality in the little guy. I fell in love with his little face and big ears… and when Czarina asked me to do some “new family” photos for them, I said HECK YES! I met the three of them in San Juan Capistrano and we enjoyed the late afternoon warmth as we walked around and shot in the Los Rios Historic district.
