Part of my 2012 goals list is to take more time documenting my own life and the adventures that happen outside of the weddings and portraits. While I absolutely LOVE photographing other people and their milestone events, it’s important for me to have a creative outlet untouched by expectations of others. This past week, I set up a print shop on Etsy to showcase some personal projects and travel photography. I’m really excited about this because it’s different… it changes things up for me…. and it’s something that fills me up creatively. The photos I’ve featured so far are some of my all time favorites from places ranging from Germany, Thailand, around the United States, and even some from Central America. So if you’re someone who’s contacted me wishing for a printed copy of one of my travel shots…. your wish has been granted! And if you don’t see a photo you’d like me feature, leave a comment or email me and I’ll get that up and available for you.
On another note, I’m so very thankful for you blog readers. Through the many transitions and growing my business and I have gone through in the past 4 years (yes, it’s been FOUR YEARS!!), you’ve been faithful and encouraging… and I feel so blessed to know you. I love reading your comments and I love that some of us have even become friends through this blog and social media…. what an amazing thing to be able to connect together over beautiful stories and photos. Thank you and I hope you’ll keep stopping by to read, connect, and hopefully be inspired.
