Every season yields different obsessions, and currently I’m in a rather eclectic season marked by crazy colored clothing, late night sleep patterns, and an overwhelming desire to dance to no music in public. Here are some of my latest obsessions….
Huckleberry Donuts and Trifecta Brewed coffee from Portola Coffee Lab. If you haven’t checked out this rad new-ish coffee place in Orange County…. you should definitely take a field trip some morning. Their donuts are, hands down, some of the best I’ve ever had… and that comes from the girl who’s had donuts every Sunday since she was in 4th Grade.
Usually, I’m a neutral or pink/red nail polish kinda girl…. but lately I’ve craved not so natural colors like Turquoise and purple… and I’m super obsessed with the brands “Butter” and the Ulta Brand nail polish…. they stay on forever. I’m also really into getting fresh flowers every week for my office…. it spruces up an otherwise static area and makes it feel livelier. Flowers just make me plain happy.
I blogged a little while ago about Instagram and how much I love it… well I’m still super into it. I’ve also discovered this great new company called Kanvess Prints that prints your Instagram photos into super cute square prints. It’s such a great feeling to hold your photos in your hand and have the ability to hang them, pin them, and decorate with them! I’ve also recenty discovered the deliciousness that comes from French Press coffee. I received a French Press and Coffee grinder for a wedding gift, but haven’t had the chance to use it yet. I feel like a cool kid when I pour myself freshly pressed coffee in the mornings….
And lastly, I’m really diggin’ reading books. It’s a 2012 goal of mine to read more books…. and so far so good! If you’re looking for some inspirational reading, I’d highly recommend these three of my recent reads:
Love Does, Bob Goff – Discover a secretly incredible life in an ordinary world
EntreLeadership, Dave Ramsey – Everything you ever wanted to know about building and growing a business–but didn’t know who to ask….
Messy Spirituality, Michael Yaconelli – A book about Christianity for those of us who think we don’t do it right….
And with that… have a wonderful 4th of July holiday tomorrow…
