The Lido House is a historic ocean side mansion, sitting atop the old city hall site in Newport Beach. Simultaneously giving off beach town charm and classic luxury, it sets the scene for a perfect storybook wedding. The staff provided an amazing lawn cocktail hour, complete with hand-delivered hors d’oeuvres and hand crafted cocktails. The evening continued with an all-encompassing dinner menu and an exquisite ice cream cart for the guests. Transformed effortlessly with the event’s sage green hues, the boathouse ballroom features lovely ocean views with a flourishing landscape. This venue truly handles everything, making it an easy choice for Orange County weddings.
Brendan and Lydia had people from all over the world come to watch them say “I Do”. The star of the show was Lydia’s Ines Di Santo dress. Paired with a cathedral style veil, the gown was sewn with chantilly lace and an exquisite cut out back. For the reception, she changed into a sparkling Zavana Bridal ballgown. Concurrently, Brendan wore an Alfani tux, with cufflinks passed down by the bride’s grandfather. The couple had a bustling wedding party of sixteen of their closest friends, and it’s safe to say that the fun never stopped! Take-home memories were captured throughout the reception with polaroid cameras and a professional photo booth.
Working alongside When Two Become One Film Co. for the day, we solidified these special moments forever. A big thanks to Melanie Oliver who coordinated the day and made our jobs easy! Furthermore, I’m honored that Carat and Cake chose to feature Brendan and Lydia’s Newport Beach wedding at the Lido House on their blog.
