Ebell of Los Angeles | Kenneth and Ian’s Wedding

A Ebell Los Angeles wedding photo. Two grooms, Ian and Kenny, pose together. One hugging the other while he smiles at the camera.

The Ebell Theatre is a historic landmark in Los Angeles, earning its reputation as a cultural centerpiece.  Originally built in 1925, the venue has played host to many notable events over the years. In fact, a young Judy Garland was discovered there after a theatre performance.  The Italian Renaissance-style architecture is met with marble floors, vaulted ceilings, and an iconic art collection. It is easily one of the most sought after wedding venues in Los Angeles.

Since Ian and Kenny met in law school, they requested to do their couple’s portraits in the exquisite lecture hall. Their special day was a beautiful display of how loved they are by their family and friends. Ian’s aunt officiated the ceremony, and each name card included an adorable mini origami handmade by Kenny’s mother. It’s hard to improve upon the natural beauty of this venue, but Flora Sky somehow pulled it off. They created spiraling-rose columns and hanging floral chandeliers, elevating the space perfectly. Thanks to the meticulous planning of XOXO Weddings, the details of this day were incredible to capture.  That is why I’m honored to share that California Wedding Day decided to feature it in their 2023 spring/summer issue!
