For a couple as wonderful as Travis and Mariel, I couldn’t have hoped for a more beautiful wedding day. Everyone was all smiles, and excitement was thick in the air. Mariel and the girls chattered away as they helped one another button dresses and fiddle with pearl necklaces…. Francis, Mariel’s mom, pinned heirlooms and things borrowed to Mariel’s dress…..and Kimberly Conners and her team bustled along putting the finishing touches on the ceremony and reception decor. The sun peeked through the summery cloud cover,  the soft sound of waves crashed on the beach below us, and delicious hints of that night’s culinary feast wafted in through the Spanish style windows. It was SUCH a perfect day. It was such a blessing to be surrounded with such wonderful people and to document this prayer covered day. Travis and Mariel…. the newest Mrs. and Mr. Chiang…. you were a dream to work with. It’s not every day that a bride and groom make sure I feel so appreciated, supported, and… included in your love story. And I am so thankful you asked me to document this amazing time in your lives. There were so many beautiful moments that day, but I wanted to share a few highlights of my own….
