As I walked into the parking lot of Horizon Christian Fellowship with the Botsford Family, we ran into the Gamboa ladies. After a few hugs and “good to see you’s”, Bonnie introduced me to Julie Gamboa. It’s funny how the body of Christ works… there’s so many intricate connections and blessings interwoven into this huge thing called the Church. Julie and her family were definitely a blessing and a complete joy to spend time with… and I’m so glad our paths crossed!
Back in May, Christina & John Kohlenberg got married and had the opportunity to take pictures at this gorgeous house in Rancho Santa Fe…. and this house belongs to the Gamboa’s. They were out of the country for the wedding, so I wasn’t able to thank them personally, but I’m so glad we finally met and we got to have round two for their holiday portrait shoot!
It was so much fun hanging out with David and Julie and their three awesome kids Noah, Anna, and Sofia while we shot some portraits! Here’s some of my favorites from the day… and I have to say right now, that this was one of my favorite family shoots this season!
It was a gorgeous autumn day in Southern California… so we decided to take advantage of the colors and have some fun while the boys got ready…
Anna and Sofia were loving the camera… (and the camera definitely loved them back!)… but I decided to give them a little rest while I took some shots of the eldest Gamboa kid… In talking with him, he mentioned that he plays guitar. (His mom mentioned how good he is too) So he ran up to his room and grabbed his guitar for some quick shots of him and his baby…. they turned out so good! David and Julie… you got quite the handsome son there!
Finally everyone was there and ready to go… so we all enjoyed the leaves and the colors for a little longer before we continued with the shoot…
These girls crack me up… they’re such natural models! I might have to borrow you guys for a shoot sometime…
Such a good looking family!
Things started winding down and the boys went to continue doing their music thing… so the girls decided to hop the fence to soak up some of the beautiful sunset lighting…
Thank you so much you guys!
