For David and Crystal, San Francisco is a place of beginnings and deep and meaningful memories, so it seemed fitting to take their engagement photos in such a special place. We spent the afternoon walking around University of California San Francisco campus, hiking to the top of Inner Sunset hill and around Lands’ End, and ended our time at the famous Sutro Baths. In true San Francisco form, it was gloomy and a bit crisp out, so David and Crystal pulled out their old UCSF swag to cozy up with and keep warm. As we walked, they shared memories of their college days and how they met. He smiled recalling the feelings he felt when he decided to ask her if they could take their friendship a step further. She vividly described some of their travel adventures they had been able to take recently and remarked how lucky she was to have an adventuring partner. Even though they met a while ago in college, their love has carried them through a cross country move, a physical therapy doctorate, med school, and residency. Years later, their relationship has just been made strong and their love, deeper…. it’s really wonderful to be around. I loved spending the afternoon with these two, getting to know them and their adventurous spirits, and documenting this fun and exciting chapter in their story!
