Last time we saw Melissa was waaaay back in 2009 when I was just starting my business, Christopher and I had just started dating, Melissa was 2 years out of high school, and the world was a little simpler. The world, my business, and Melissa have changed SO MUCH SO QUICKLY it kind of makes my head spin a bit thinking about it. I remember when she was in elementary school and had to get a mushroom hair cut to keep her unruly locks out of trouble and out of the wild cherry bubble gum she loved to chew. I remember the bumble bee costume she wore when she had just learned to walk….. there will never be another bee cuter than her. I remember her proms, her water polo games, her famous trip to Italy with the Fullerton College Choir. It seems like just yesterday she was small and I was just her older sister. Melissa, my little sister, is now graduating from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree and a love for theatrical arts. I am so proud of her and all of her hard work to achieve this milestone and I expect nothing but excellence from her in her post college adventures. To usher in the celebrations, she requested I take some senior portraits of her at the ever so amazing Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. Special thanks to Danyell Weinberg for the lovely hair and makeup! Here are my favorites from the evening….
Aaaand in other news, the winner of the $50 iTunes gift card is Karla Hill! Congratulations and thanks so much for your support! Your words are so encouraging. 🙂
