I was telling Christopher today… well, more like complaining about how very few weddings I’ve blogged this year. I think it’s because I’m so emotionally attached to all my amazing brides and grooms that it takes me DAYS to pick images and write about their stories. I know there are more time efficient ways of sharing my work, but I suppose my business is a little different in that way… I adore my clients and their stories and their photos are a part of my own story. This couple I’m sharing about today is a prime example of what a bride and groom mean to me. Bret and Hannah are nothing short of amazing…. their personalities, their style, their family and friends…. EVERYTHING was amazing. Christopher and I left Colorado in awe of the entire experience, and as I poured through all the images from their wedding day, tears fell and my heart felt full knowing these two are married now.
Bret and Hannah met while attending Colorado University. These two share a love for their Lord, a love for Boulder, a love for Bret’s dog Jimmy, and they love football…. Buff’s football to be more specific. They also really love people… Hannah as a school teacher, and Bret as an accountant and worship leader. People came from far and wide to be in attendance at their wedding….. a testament to how much they’ve invested in the people in their lives. Truly inspiring.
Now, it was ridiculous trying to narrow down which images I wanted to share with you, but here are some of my favorites from the day. All in all, it was a perfect day of laughter, happy tears, heart felt love and support, and I counted myself lucky to have been a part of the event. Bret and Hannah, I adore you two…. and keep your eyes peeled for apartments near yours because at the rate Christopher talks about Boulder, we may end up moving there soon.
