Allison’s New Love | Christopher Jr.

It’s not often that I’m asked to shoot subjects other than grown-ups… and it takes a change of gears for me, but I love being challenged. A friend of mine, Allison, gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy earlier this year and now that they’ve settled into each other, she asked me come over last week and take some shots of the two of them together. Having a baby is such a life altering thing. Nothing’s the same ever again…. but in the best of ways. I think it’s fascinating watching these little humans grow and learn and become… themselves. And it was a really awe-inspiring morning watching little Christopher smile, try to catch his toes, and touch his mom’s face with his baby hands. Here’s my favorites from the morning…

The first thing I noticed was his toes. They are SO CUTE.

Last time I saw Allison, baby Christopher was in her tummy still. Since then, it’s been only a couple months… and already, Christopher is SO BIG! Apparently he’s known as the “little man” by his family…

There are two things that make Christopher smile… one is looking at himself in the mirror…. and the other is Mommy Kisses. He’s so cute!

The Zoolander face…. he’s got that one down!
