The Stone Family’s San Juan Capistrano Holiday Portraits

Fall has fallen in southern California, even though the temperatures are being kind of bi-polar. Fall means school, shorter days, the race to find that ONE changing tree in SoCal, pumpkin everything… and family portraits. Even though most of my work throughout the year is weddings and engagements, I get to change it up a little in the fall and do more family shoots. It’s a fun change of pace to chase kids around instead of wedding parties, and I get to talk about fun things like Dora the Explorer and trains. Well, the first of my family portraits this year was the sweet Stone family. I met them for the first time last year for their family portraits and their littlest one, Allie, had JUST been born. So it was really cool this year to see them again and document another year in their family’s life… the year Wryder turned three and Allie turned one. All four of them are simply adorable and I loved chasing the littles around all afternoon. Here are some favorites….

I’m going to miss them next year when they relocate to the Pacific Northwest, but maybe we can set up a little trip up there next fall…. I hear the autumn leaves are beautiful that time of year… 😉
