The Jessie Family Holiday Portraits

Fall is a time marked by change. Kids start a new grade in school, the weather slowly transitions from the heat of summer to the cold of winter, and the “in-between” is decorated with the reds, oranges, and yellows of leaves changing. It’s beautiful…. it’s refreshing…. it means family portrait season has begun. The Jessie Family started it off with a sweet reminder of why I love family portraits so much. This sweet Texan family migrated out to the still warm California coast to visit their oldest, Maddi, at college. And since this is the Jessie Family’s first year experiencing a kid away at college, they decided it was fitting to document this chapter with some photos.

 Everything about the Jessie family is wonderful! We had a wonderful time walking around Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano, and then finished off the evening enjoying the sunset in south Laguna. Here are a few of my favorites from the evening…
